TrueLink – General Terms and Conditions

Welcome to TrueLink, an online store based in South Africa supplying GMC communication radios and related accessories. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and services. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please note, all Radios and software do need a Monthly subscription. Please contact the sales team for connection options.

2. Products and Availability

  • All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product without notice.

  • Images of products are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • We accept secure online payments via [insert payment methods, e.g., PayFast, EFT, Credit/Debit Card].

  • Orders will only be processed once payment has been received in full.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver within South Africa via trusted couriers.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location and availability.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and communicated before order confirmation.

  • Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act.

  • Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all packaging.

  • A refund or exchange will be processed once we have inspected the returned item.

  • Custom or special-order products may not be eligible for return unless defective.

  • Damages and issues
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

6. Warranty and Defects

  • All radios are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty (typically 12 months) against defects.

  • Warranties do not cover damage due to misuse, water exposure (unless rated), or unauthorized repair.

  • To claim warranty, proof of purchase must be provided.

7. Use of Communication Devices

  • It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with ICASA and other applicable regulations governing the use of two-way radios in South Africa.

  • TrueLink does not accept liability for misuse of communication devices.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • TrueLink is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

  • Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the product in question.

9. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Information collected is used solely for order processing and customer service.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate South African courts.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.

  • Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
